Meet Mychelle

I was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle and never imagined I would end up in Indiana! I married my highschool sweetheart and followed him as a stay at home mom, while his career moved us through 4 states until we ended up in South Bend. I found myself loving the mild summers and snowy winters of Northern Indiana.

As the mother of two busy boys, I've been coach, team mom, classroom helper, mom and wife for 14 years. The boys got older, and I felt the pull to go back to work outside the home. I tried out a few careers. While it felt good to be back "in the office," I hadn’t found the perfect fit. 

In 2017 my first husband lost his battle with cancer, thrusting the three of us onto a new path. God blessed me with a second love. When we needed a home large enough to raise our blended family of seven, Ashley Leader was the girl I called. Not only did she find us the perfect home, amidst all my search requirements she introduced me to Diane Bennett. 

Ashley felt like there was a place for me at Inspired Homes. For almost a year, Diane and I stayed in touch, prayed and waited for God’s signal for the right "seat." Well, it finally arrived in June 2022, and I am so excited to be the new Marketing Coordinator, working with an amazing group of faith forward coworkers. 

The future is bright, and I am proud to be a part of finding our clients their perfect fit.
